"When I have a book, I am never lonely". This was a favourite phrase of my father's, and I think he could not have been more right. Within the pages of a book lie old friends and new acquaintances, we can find a meaning to our lives through the creative achievements of so many different and some possibly brilliant minds, and can listen to voices that might otherwise be stilled forever.
